Vision, Mission and Objectives

Mission:

 

With the expansion of graduate education at Mutah University and the growing number of new graduate programs, an overhaul of graduate governance has become a necessity. The Graduate studies Council has been established to elaborate, build, and carefully operate graduate governance structures in order to enhance academic and research processes.

The Graduate studies Council is an independent unit, reporting directly to the dean of graduate studies, and works closely with deans of other faculties in the university.

Our newly established college will facilitate and coordinate graduate education and uniformly implement the rules and regulations, the policies, and the deadlines, and the standards for quality control which govern graduate work at Mutah University. It will also manage and coordinate the recruitment and admission of graduate students; administer and unified graduate policies; and monitor the implementation of policies concerning graduate assistantship appointments.

 

Vision:

 

According to University's vision- that springs from the philosophy of its establishment - higher education in Jordan as well as other Arab counties in the region especially in the recent century faces several challenges to meet the community needs,, and Mutah University should be able to face this challenge, and take this responsibility, in order to lead the fields of education, technology, and scientific discoveries, by providing an atmosphere of activity innovation and intellectual. And provides opportunities for fruitful cooperation. Mutah University remains committed by education and research, not only in academic fields, but also in the culture, nationalism and institutional fields. Mutah University will exploit all resources in order to achieve its utmost superiority and concentrate all attention to achieve this aim.



 

College goals:

1- Providing a high standard of learning environment which focuses on student to employ graduates who are able to contribute in the economic, social cultural life in universities and communities and have an ability for participation in a wider scale, commitment and communication to develop the personal and professional side.
2- Making high quality which has importance in the regional and professional levels researches to be distinct locally and internationally.
3-Always pay attention to dynamic and continued moving under the regional scale as a response and recognition of a rapidly changing global environment which based on excellence in education, research, and developing leadership skills.
4-Ensuring efficient resource management and development.
